Its high spin performance enables powerful and stable balls with a high trajectory. A wider-ranging level of players can now experience the feeling of hitting powerful topspins with heavy rotation.

High Tension pimples-in Rubber
[Spring sponge X]
Sponge Hardness: 38 Sponge Thickness: 2.1, 1.9
The rubber is good at generating powerful balls with heavy rotations and also provides great ease of use when playing shots close to the net. It also enables stable balls with high trajectories. A wider-ranging level of players can now experience the game with a tacky rubber, such as playing rotation-oriented topspins and counter topspins close to the table.

High friction High Tension pimples-in Rubber
[Spring sponge X]
Sponge Hardness: 42 Sponge Thickness: 2.1, 1.9
The Spring Sponge X adopted in the Glayzer series was developed based on the sponge used in the Dignics series.
> What is the Spring Sponge X?
The sponge hardness is 38 degrees for Glayzer and42 degrees for Glayzer 09C. Comparing the Glayzer with the Dignics 05 and the Glayzer 09C with the Dignics 09C respectively, they are two degrees softer.
In general, rubbers with harder sponges require faster swings that can bring out their speed and spin performance.
On the other hand, rubbers with a softer sponge do not offer the same maximum speed and spin performance as a harder sponge, but it is easier for the rubber to hold the ball, making play more stable. It is easier to use for players who are not confident in their swing speed, and it is also easier to maximize the potential performance of the rubber.
The Glayzer series, which is softer than Dignics*, is a rubber that can help the improvement of a wide range of player skills.
GLAYZER Top sheet with improved resistance to abrasion
Like the Dignics 05, 80 and 64, the Glayzer uses a top sheet with improved resistance to abrasion. It applies the compounding technology of ingredients for improved resistance developed in the past and boasts more than double the resistance** of conventional rubbers.
Pimple shape for spin performance
The exclusive pimple shape adopted for the Glayzer was developed based on development code No. 05. It brings high spin performance to the rubber.
The top sheet with identical technology to that which is used in the Dignics 09C
In general, when High Tension technology is applied, the adhesive performance of the sheet’s surface tends to decrease, and the features of the adhesive rubber are hardly exhibited. We solved this complex problem with our unique compounding technology of ingredients. The top sheet, which combines High Tension with the characteristics of a tacky rubber, is an essential element of the Glayzer 09C.
Pimple shape designed to enhance the performance of a tacky rubber
The Glayzer 09C adopts the pimple shape of development code No. 209, which features a thicker base and a thinner, lower pimple. It supports players who fully utilize the characteristics of a tacky rubber using shots, such as short touches that bounce close to the net with heavy spin.
The Glayzer Series has been created using technologies and knowledge gained through the decades of rubber development by Butterfly.
We have a strong desire to help a broader range of players improve, whilst also responding to the demands of top athletes.
Therefore, we developed the Glayzer series which provides ease of use and retains high performance.
“We want you to experience the full dynamism of table tennis, which is possible with high-performance rubbers equipped with Spring Sponge X.” “Because of its high performance and great ease of use, we can now help more players to improve their skills.”
We proudly deliver the Glayzer series as a rubber that will help to expand your possibilities.
The Glayzer series was developed in cooperation with Butterfly’s R&D, Marketing and Manufacturing departments.
