HARIMOTO BLADE PROJECT
Development Episode Part 3

“I want a model that is the perfect fit; that allows me to fight for the highest honours”,
his tone of voice is calm but candid;
Tomokazu Harimoto values the need for a high quality blade
to be produced, his thoughts are the same as those of Butterfly.

Blue is his favourite colour; it is the colour at the base of the handle.
Once Harimoto made a special request to have gold
somewhere on the handle this no doubt reflects his thirst
for success and his determination to reach the very top of his sport.
After trial and error, the designer placed a golden circle
in the plastic lens  on the handle
of the blade to symbolise victory and meet his request.
On top of that, he found out that one of the Chinese characters
of his family name “Hari (張)” is composed of “a bow (弓)”
and laid three bows in a golden circle,
meaning that the Harimoto family is working as one.

It is a talent that Butterfly supports.
The blade is full of innovations,
it reflects a passion for the sport and is source of motivation;
most importantly, it provides for high level performance
for a player noted for his positive style.
Already Tomokazu Harimoto has shaken the world
with his incredible performances;
we anticipate more and no doubt beyond our wildest imagination.
